The Spectrum Anaylzer I have is not measuring any signal or noise. Does anyone know what the issue is?

The front end input of the Spectrum Anaylzer is most likely damaged. You can try to do a self calibration on the Spectrum Anaylzer to see if indicates any major problem. If not I will send it in to a repair vendor and have them take a look. It costed me around $700-800 to repair the input components of the Spectrum Analyzer and this was 6 years ago. To prevent damage to your front end input connector, you can add a external attenuation pad or a transient limiter. Always remember to use either 50 or 75 Ohm cables & connectors, do not mix & use them together.
