I am using a Sumitek PIM Tester' class='regSlim'>tester and I am having a problem pinpointing where a problem is. Is there a easier way to find the source of the problem?

Re: pinpointing Sumitek PIM tester
You would have to do some distance measurements with the Sumitek but the new Anritsu PIM Master has a uniques Distance-to -Pim capability that helps field and tower climbers accurately locate the source of PIM quickly, accurately and with less frustration that you are receiving.

It seem like such a necessary tool, I wonder how Sumitek missed it. I am a subcontractor so I am only renting the unit, Do you have the Anristu model number so I can see if I can rent it?

Re: pinpointing Sumitek PIM testerBest Answer!
It is the MW8219A. Ya It is a market Differentiator and Anritsu is a long standing T&M company and have very reliable field units such as the SiteMaster. Plus I heard the Anristu PIM Master operates in cooler temperatures and does not get hot like the other brands do which could screw up the PIM measurements. Also it has more power than the others.
